Alex Tabaka is our pastor. He is the husband of Melissa, and father of David, Jude, and Eleanor. The Lord saved him as a college freshman at the Eastman School of Music and over the decade that followed called him to a life of ordained ministry. Before coming out to the east coast, Alex served as the church-planting pastor at Tri-Lakes Reformed Church in Monument, CO. In addition to pastoring Broomall RPC, he is pursuing a PhD in systematic theology at Westminster Theological Seminary.
George Jackson, Joseph Rizzo, and the clerk of our session is William Werts III.
Larry Gladfelter, Mark Smith, Bill Werts, and Joseph Comanda is our treasurer.
Having served as our pastor since 1981, Bill Edgar has retired after 34 years of service. He has served our congregation, presbytery, and denomination in many ways over the years and we are very grateful for his, and his family's service in furthering Christ's Kingdom. We are thankful to God for Bill's continued service to Christ's Church!
Before becoming our pastor, Bill and his wife Gretchen were missionaries on the island of Cyprus for four years. Bill attended Swarthmore College, the Reformed Presbyterian Seminary in Pittsburgh, and the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a doctorate in history. He is a retired teacher of mathematics having taught at East High School in West Chester.
